The "Star" is awarded to the Treasurer of Chapters who earns "The Award of Achievement".

She must be installed on or before July 31st and serve in the same capacity until the end of the Chapter year. She must sponsor two (2) new members into her Chapter. All Financial Reports must be reconciled and transmitted by the 15th of each month. All tax and government reports must be filed and paid on time. The Treasurer shall sort the active membership into the Chapter Development Committees and provide a list to the Sr. Regent.

Treasurers must attend 2-HOTT (2 day Hands on Technical Training) and the Annual Executive Session. She must record all receipts and expenditures accurately and properly balanced. Membership records & reports shall be kept current and updates reported to Moose International weekly. She shall furnish requested reports to Moose International as required.

The Star Recorder is invested at the Annual International Conference after receiving her call card from Moose International.

Members who have earned their Star Recorder Degree are entitled to wear the green jacket.
